Goals of Counselling

Travel and Parking

How long will it take?

Please note that it is not my practice to offer a diagnosis.

My role is to help you to find your own words to make sense of what is going on.

The premises is convenient for the many buses that come into the city centre.

There is a multi-storey car park just behind the building, as well as limited on-street parking for up to 2 hours.

It is very difficult to know at the beginning how long the process will last.

Some people find that it only takes a few sessions. However sometimes they discover that they would like to explore things in more depth.

Ongoing work

Normally I will suggest that we meet for an initial consultation during which we will both be able to make an assessment.

We will explore what is bringing you to counselling and think together about how it might help.

I work in central Bristol, in a premises located just off Park St.

This is in a building which is dedicated to counselling and psychotherapy and provides a pleasant, comfortable environment.

Following the initial consultation, if you feel this is something that would be helpful to you then we can arrange an ongoing appointment.

This will initially be once a week and will be at the same time every week.
